Food Trucks

FF Kent J. Wareham of the City of Columbus Division of Fire. He is a 23 yr. veteran of the fire service (21 on the street, Ladder/Engine/Medic). He Has spent the last 2+ years developing, improving and initiating the inspection program the Division utilizes inspecting the Mobile Food Vending in Columbus. He along with others, have worked closely with the State Fire Marshal in the development and improvement of the State Code relative to the industry of MFV. They feel that all the hard work has paid off in the development of a robust inspection process that last year inspected over 400 trucks, trailers and carts. The feedback they have received from the MFV community has been very positive and they actually look forward to working with us. They have over the past several years met with the MFV community and have an information session that incorporates a couple food trucks to the meeting
